ducky Takes A Bath!

Being a firm believer in the old adage, "Cleanliness is next to duckiness," I thoroughly equipped myself for my latest adventure. I got a bar of soap (I recommend the kind that smells good), a towel, some shampoo, my life preserver and my little rubber human, and I TOOK A BATH! It was one of my more truly daring adventures, and I now recommend that everybody go out and do this at least once or twice a week. What I did for my bath was, I went into the bathroom and ran the water in the bathtub (not too hot, or you will scald yourself, and not too cold, or you will freeze your tail off!). I carefully put on my life preserver and hopped right in! I brought along my little rubber human for company. This is very important, as there is actually not a whole lot to do in a bathtub, and your little rubber human can be a companion for those long, lonely moments between the sudsing and the rinsing. But my rubber human sank right away, so I soon forgot all about it in the joy of getting all soaped up. Of course, I paid special attention to behind the ears and in between the webs. There was a really danger-filled part, when I got the soap in my eyes. This really hurts, so you have to rinse the soap out right away. When I was all soapy and scrubbed, I dunked myself in the water really good to get the soap off. This is very important, because if you don't rinse the soap off you could get really itchy, or even develop a rash. Afterwards, I carefully stepped out of the tub and pulled the plug. Never pull the plug while you are in the tub, or you will get sucked right down the drain. I dried off with the towel, then put on my bathrobe and went into the kitchen for a well-deserved snack of Cheez-Its and coffee. Wow, that was some adventure! I can hardly wait to see what I'll do next week!
