Nine days old here, and getting bigger by the minute!
Weighing in (right) we see he's almost doubled his
size since he hatched!
Here's a couple of shots that look like he's posing for Playbird magazine (hahaha)
Our baby is 13 days old here.
Fifteen days old here and looking like he eats really well!
Our baby's growing and changing so fast it's hard to keep up!
Remember the tiny foot placed in the leg band almost a week earlier?
Above is the same foot, same leg band... what a difference!
The photo on the right shows tiny tail feathers growing in!
17 days old, and weighing in at a whopping 171 grams!
You can see his eye slits forming now.
Looks like he's trying to fly away here!
Actually, he's squawking. Interesting thing about macaws...
when they squawk, they have to flap! No flap, no squawk.
Neat, huh? :)
